Forget all that, and simply listen to one of the best live recordings, in terms of quality, since the dawning of the compact disk age. Recorded last December on a sound stage in California, and drawing far beyond the video shown recently on VH-1, Fogerty and his co-producer Elliot Scheiner (a resident of Connecticut, where some of this recording was produced) have given us the quality in a live performance that all of Fogerty’s classic songs deserve.
There’s no need to list the tracks, assuming that you’ve been listening to the radio since 1969. There’s even one new track, the title song. Run out and pick this up. It’ll make you feel like you were in the concert hall with him.
